Recovery & Aftercare
Following treatment, mild redness or sensitivity may occur — typically resolving within 24–48 hours.
Over the following 3 days, your skin begins its renewal process. You may still “feel” the specules in your skin if you hands on touch the treated area. There after for the following 4 days you may experience feeling. As collagen production increases, texture gradually improves and radiance becomes more apparent.
Mild redness, sensitivity and dryness for one to three days. This is normal and part of the skin cell renewal process.
Slight peeling or flaking of the skin may occur as the old skin cells are replaced by new, healthy skin.
Specific post-treatment instructions will be given – this includes protecting your skin from sun exposure.

- Avoid using facial wipes and exfoliating products.
- No make up to be worn for 7 days minimum.

- Do not scratch or rub your skin following the SQT treatment.
- Peeling may appear within 3 days after treatment. Do not pick or peel off skin flakes. This can cause scarring and infection.
- Avoid sun exposure for 3 days minimum.
- Always apply skinsens protect spf50 during the day
